Homebase is Fayetteville, AR but I travel and live part time in my rig.

I take on 15-20 each year

100% yes. If you do not have one I will not be responsible for keeping everyone on track and getting people where they need to go. I’ve done this before and it totally took time away from when I needed to photograph and then we ran out of light. If you do not hire one, you are legally contracted to have a day of coordinator at the very least to work with Laura Powers Photo

Again my answer is 100% yes. I made the mistake of taking them out of my packages one year and realized having one makes the day flow so much better. I can’t tell you how many photos I’ve come across from different angles that they shoot that give a way more emotional feel. They can be shooting your parents holding hands, wiping little tears from their eyes during the ceremony while I’m photographing you putting the ring on your partners hand.

I always send sneak peeks the week of your wedding to tide you over until I can deliver. I will say I’m pretty generous with sneak peeks if I have the time and ability. It takes me around 8-10 weeks to edit a wedding fully and around 4 weeks to edit a session. I’m only human and I have to factor in travel time, mental health, personal days and other back end work my business needs to stay afloat!

NOPE

You can expect 50 photos per hour at the very least

I do not do this and I didn’t learn how to do this on purpose. I will always edit out blemishes or any kind of scrapes or scars that you tell me about but I want my work to reflect body positivity and loving yourself. If there is something that you are self conscious about please let me know and I can keep that in mind while posing you :)

travel is included in your package already. I will take care of my flight, hotel and rental care so you don’t have to worry about it!

This is something I take very seriously especially for my destination weddings. I have never not shown up to a wedding. I’ve shot weddings sick as a dog, yes morally questionable… However, I will always have someone on call in your area for destination weddings who can shoot your wedding. If that’s the case I will edit the photos myself.

I feel the same way about heavily posed images. I have shot many weddings and I have so much experience making couples feel comfortable during portraits. I will give you a few prompts but be guided by how you naturally interact with each other so you never feel not yourselves.
