Rockefeller Center Wedding in NYC | Ali & Ari
A New York City Wedding at Rockefeller Center & Jupiter Restaurant
High Fashion, City Chic, and Unforgettable Views at the Top of the Rock
Ali and Air’s wedding was the ultimate love letter to New York City—sophisticated, fashion-forward, and steeped in iconic architecture. Their ceremony took place at the legendary Rockefeller Center, and the celebration continued at the stunning Jupiter restaurant, nestled just steps away within the newly reimagined Rink Level.
Getting Ready in Classic NYC Style
The day began in two quintessential Manhattan locations. Ali got ready at the JW Marriott Essex House, a historic Art Deco hotel overlooking Central Park. The suite was flooded with soft morning light, the perfect setting for portraits that balanced softness with editorial energy. Ali wore a structured and elegant gown by Lela Rose, sourced from Alexia’s Bridal Boutique—a modern silhouette that felt entirely in tune with the day’s elevated aesthetic.
Meanwhile, Air prepared for the day at their Central Park apartment, a deeply personal space that added an intimate layer to the morning. Air wore a tailored look by Casely-Hayford, nodding to timeless menswear with a clean, contemporary twist.
Ceremony at Rockefeller Center
The ceremony unfolded in the heart of Midtown Manhattan at Rockefeller Center, surrounded by the Art Deco grandeur that defines this historic location. With Brandon Valentin officiating and the hum of the city all around, Ali and Air’s vows felt both deeply personal and cinematic—an authentic reflection of who they are.
Portraits at Top of the Rock
When planning this wedding, I knew flash photography would be essential—not just for lighting, but for vibe. With the backdrop of the Top of the Rock and sweeping views of Manhattan at sunset, we leaned into a bold, editorial feel: direct flash, high contrast, unapologetically chic. These portraits turned out to be some of my favorites—timeless with a hint of edge. Think: old-school Vanity Fair meets modern wedding elegance.
Reception at Jupiter NYC
The reception was hosted at Jupiter, one of New York’s most design-forward restaurants located right in the heart of Rock Center. Jupiter’s interiors blend Roman architecture with contemporary flair—soft arches, terrazzo tables, and glowing brass accents. The space offered the perfect backdrop for an intimate dinner party filled with food, laughter, and toasts that had the entire room in tears (and then in fits of laughter).
The Vibe: New York Chic
This wedding felt like walking into a well-styled editorial shoot—with warmth. The entire day was infused with Ali and Air’s love of food, wine, fashion, and art. From the curated tablescape to the wine-forward dinner menu, everything was intentional. And because they live and work in the city with their 9-year-old French bulldog, it was only right that they brought their love story home.
