Ozark National Forest // Windy Mountaintop Spring Elopement // Sams Throne // Arkansas

Hello again quarantiners,

Like most couples during this time, Nikki and Dustin’s wedding didn’t go as planned. They said goodbye to the meticulous planning they had spent many months doing, as well as loved ones and friends that couldn’t be physically present, but one thing that did not change was the true testament of love that was exchanged between the two them and the sweet emotional vows Nikki and Dustin shared to each other. It was intimate and perfect and they were able to be completely present with each other and I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am to have witnessed it.

We all met at Sams Throne, a place that is super special to my husband and I. We have spent countless days camping and climbing there, making some of the best memories I have of our relationship. It was the perfect elopement spot, overlooking the Mountains with a LOT of wind which is every photographers dream honestly. Nikki got ready and changed in my changing tent that I bring to every elopement and met her soon be husband out on the bluff line to say I do.

This wedding was extra special, Nikki even brought her late mother with her encased in a dolphin broch that you can see at the end of the gallery. It made me emotional when Nikki told me she felt like I was meant to come into her life for a reason, her mothers name was Laura Lee as well and everything just fell into place together so perfectly.

Hope you enjoy, this was one of my favorite Elopement’s to date.
